Polly Bee

I have created a story about a bee called Polly going on an adventure to collect pollen from various flowers, which bees find the most alluring. The main character Polly is shown throughout the story flying to different plants, which bees love and also don't, teaching along the way. Teaching young children and their parents about the best plants for the garden, attracting bees to live in a healthy habitat helping their population thrive. Created as a board book, it is aimed towards younger children as they are beginning to learn about outside plants and flowers. They will be drawn to the bold, colourful images as they learn. This learning could potentially help create a new generation of bee lovers, who want them to thrive in a safe environment. The main message is ‘a happy bee is a safe bee’.
